La Maison Vaslin | La Maison Vaslin is a beautifully restored and tastefully furnished three bedroom house situated in the heart of the Loire Valley. Nestled between the villages of Parcay les Pins and Gizeux (both offering a range of traditional shops and restaurants), Maison Vaslin boasts idyllic tranquility - yet is within easy reach of the many magnificent chateaux and vineyards for which the region is famed. Part of two adjoining longeres on the small and exclusive gite arrangement at La Rue Vaslin, this traditional Tuffeau-stone house has a wealth of character and charm and is presented in immaculate condition. Featuring two lovely king sized bedrooms La Maison Vaslin is ideal for two couples, while a third twin bedroom enables the house to comfortably accommodate 6 people. La Maison Vaslin also has the benefit of being able to interconnect with its adjoining gite, L'Ecurie, providing accommodation for up to 10 people.

La Maison Vaslin has its own gates accessing the property from the rear where lovely arched French doors give you the choice of entering the house from either the Kitchen or Lounge.

In the large kitchen/diner there is a farmhouse table which comfortably seats six people and an American style fridge provides ample refrigeration for both food and drink, with ice 'on tap'. The well equipped kitchen also has a microwave, an electric cooker and hob, and a dishwasher.

Off the kitchen is the spacious lounge with a feature wood burning stove which makes La Maison Vaslin as appealing in the cooler winter months as it is in the summer. The French doors lead onto the private patio and garden area where there is outdoor furniture and a BBQ.

As well its own private garden, La Maison Vaslin has access to the communal grounds at La Rue Vaslin and also the magnificent 12 x 6m swimming pool which, open from April - October, is heated during the cooler months. Around the pool is a large south facing terrace which is ideal for soaking up the sun!

Also located outside which is available to all our properties at La Rue Vaslin is the laundry room, which has a washing machine, ironing facilities (although there is also an iron and board at La Maison Vaslin), and drying lines. In the laundry room are bikes which are available for guests' use.

Back in the house, stairs lead off the lounge to the first floor where a master bedroom overlooks the fields beyond. This bedroom has a king size bed, an en-suite shower room, and ample wardrobe space.

At the other end of the upstairs floor is another beautifully furnished double bedroom which also features a king size bed and ample wardrobe space. This bedroom has the benefit of having the main bathroom with an over shower situated next to it.

In between these two large bedrooms is the twin bedroom featuring two single beds and wardrobe.

The house itself is well equipped with Satellite Television, DVD Player, and CD Hi-fi System. It also has a range of indoor and outdoor games, including table tennis and boules.

For larger groups, the adjoining one bedroom gite, L'Ecurie can be used to extend the accommodation at La Maison Vaslin. This is interconnected from the kitchen and leads into the lounge area at L'Ecurie which has a double bedroom and a sofa bed enabling a further 2-4 guests.   Click here for details of L'Ecurie.
