La Maison Vaslin | Maison Vaslin is a beautifully presented three-bedroom house situated on the small and exclusive gite arrangement of La Rue Vaslin. Located in the heart of the Loire Valley, between the villages of Parcay les Pins and Gizeux (both offering a range of traditional shops and restaurants), it is ideally located for exploring and enjoying this wonderful region of France. Part of two adjoining longeres, this traditional Tuffeau-stone house has a wealth of character and charm and is presented in immaculate condition. It features two lovely king-size bedrooms (one en-suite), a large twin bedroom, a lovely spacious lounge, and well equipped kitchen/diner. Comfortably accommodating six people, Maison Vaslin also has the benefit of its own enclosed private garden as well as the use of La Rue Vaslin’s excellent facilities, which include a superb 11 x 5m pool and large games barn. For larger groups, Maison Vaslin can be interconnected with its adjoining gite, L’Ecurie, to provide accommodation for up to 10 people.

La Maison Vaslin has its own gates accessing the property from the rear where lovely arched French doors give you the choice of entering the house from either the kitchen or lounge.

In the large kitchen/diner there is a farmhouse table which comfortably seats six people and an American style fridge provides ample refrigeration for both food and drink, with ice 'on tap'. The well equipped kitchen also has a microwave, an electric cooker and hob, and a dishwasher.

Off the kitchen is the spacious lounge with a feature wood burning stove which makes La Maison Vaslin as appealing in the cooler winter months as it is in the summer. The French doors lead onto the private patio and garden area where there is outdoor furniture and a BBQ.

As well its own private, enclosed, garden, La Maison Vaslin has access to the communal grounds at La Rue Vaslin which includes a lovely 11 x 5m swimming pool which, open from May to October, is heated during the cooler months. Around the pool is a large south facing terrace which is ideal for soaking up the sun!

Also located outside which is available to all our properties at La Rue Vaslin is the laundry room, which has a washing machine, ironing facilities (although there is also an iron and board at La Maison Vaslin), and drying lines.

Back in the house, stairs lead off the lounge to the first floor where a master bedroom overlooks the fields beyond. This bedroom has a king size bed, an en-suite shower room, and ample wardrobe space.

At the other end of the upstairs floor is another beautifully furnished king-size bedroom which also features a king-size bed and ample wardrobe space. This bedroom has the benefit of having the main bathroom with an over shower situated next to it.

In between these two large bedrooms is a spacious twin bedroom featuring two single beds and wardrobe.

The house itself is well equipped with UK satellite television, DVD player, and CD hi-fi System. It also has a range of indoor and outdoor games, including table tennis and boules.

For larger groups, the adjoining one-bedroom gite, L'Ecurie, can be used to extend the accommodation at La Maison Vaslin. This is interconnected from the kitchen and leads into the lounge area at L'Ecurie which has a double bedroom and a sofa bed enabling a further 2-4 guests.   Click here for details of L'Ecurie.

Outside

Maison Vaslin has its own private, enclosed, garden to the rear of the property. This well equipped garden with furniture and a BBQ is available for guests' use.

There is also the use of the communal grounds to the front and rear side of the property, and the lovely 11 x 5m swimming pool with a large south-facing sun terrace.

The pool is enclosed and has a safety alarm for peace of mind. Sun-loungers and chairs are available.

At the front of the property is a large games barn which has table tennis, small snooker table, table football, darts, and basketball. The barn also has bikes which are available free of charge for guests use.
