One Bedroom Gites at La Rue Vaslin | Part of a small privately owned development, La Rue Vaslin comprises three one bedroom gites and one three bedroom house. Set in the heart of the Loire Valley, about 40km from the fashionable town of Saumur yet situated in idyllic countryside, our one bedroom gites provide immaculate accommodation for those seeking a relaxing holiday while providing the perfect base for touring this popular and historic area of France. An old and lovingly converted 19th century farm, La Rue Vaslin provides an ideal child free environment* located on a small and exclusive arrangement which is nestled between the villages of Parcay les Pins and Gizeux. Situated just a few kilometres from the Bourgueil and Saumur vineyards, all our gites feature satellite TV/DVD and CD Players, and have the benefit of having private gardens as well the use of large communal grounds and the lovely 12 x 6m heated swimming pool.

La Vieille Maison La Vieille Maison is just that - the old house. Originally a two-room farm dwelling it retains many features such as the stone fireplace, bread oven and exposed beams. The south-facing door opens onto a private garden with a large lawn surrounded by shady areas of trees, shrubs and flower beds, and bordered to the front by a tuffeau wall and the old farm out buildings. The large double bedroom has an en-suite shower-room/WC and an open plan kitchen/lounge area provides comfortable living with dining table/chairs and sofa as well as featuring satellite TV/DVD and CD Player.

Le Grenier Le Grenier is a light and spacious upstairs apartment which has been carefully converted to retain many original features. The French windows in the kitchen open onto a small balcony, built above the old stone bread oven, giving magnificent views to the south and east over the surrounding countryside. Steps lead down to a private garden area, bordered by lavender and grape vines. Le Grenier also benefits from a large double bedroom, shower room/WC, a spacious separate lounge with satellite TV/DVD and CD Player and a large fitted kitchen with dining area.

L'Ecurie L'Ecurie is an immaculate and well appointed ground floor gite featuring a double bedroom, separate lounge with satellite TV/DVD and CD Player, a newly fitted kitchen/dining area and shower-room/WC. L'Ecurie also benefits from having private access from both sides of the longere. All our gites benefit from the use of a communal laundry room with washing machine and drying facilities.
